A small team that would rather be accountable than impressive.
We are a Bangalore digital marketing agency built around one rule: if the numbers do not move, it is our problem. Six services, one senior team, and reporting written in language you could forward to your board without translating it.

Why we started this way round
Most agencies grow outward from a single skill. A design studio adds a media buyer. A performance shop hires a content writer. The extra service is real, but it is bolted on, and the seams show up in the worst possible place, the client's numbers. Traffic arrives at a page nobody optimised. A beautiful site launches with a URL structure that erases four years of rankings. A campaign generates two hundred enquiries into an inbox with no follow-up behind it.
DG5 was set up in Bangalore to avoid exactly that. We started with the six capabilities a growing business actually needs in sequence, a site that works, search visibility, paid demand, a store that converts, conversation channels, and lifecycle automation, and staffed them as one team rather than six departments. The point was never to be the biggest agency in the city. It was to be the one where nobody can say the problem belongs to another vendor.
That decision costs us some business. We are not the cheapest option, because senior people do the work rather than supervise juniors doing it. We turn down projects where the brief is a channel rather than an outcome. And we say no to retainers we do not think will pay for themselves, which is a strange thing to do commercially and the main reason clients stay for years.
How the team is put together
The people who scope your project are the people who deliver it. There is no pre sales team writing promises that a delivery team then discovers are impossible. When we quote a timeline, the person quoting has built the thing before and knows where it will slow down, usually content, usually approvals, occasionally an integration nobody documented.
Every account has one lead who owns the relationship end to end, plus specialists who come in for their part of the work. A search lead does not pretend to be a media buyer. A developer does not write your email sequences. But they sit in the same weekly review, look at the same dashboard, and argue with each other before anything reaches you, which is how a website change ends up being planned around a live campaign rather than dropped on top of it.
We deliberately keep the client list small enough that this stays true. An agency can either serve a hundred accounts with a template or a smaller number with attention, and pretending otherwise is where most retainers quietly turn into invoices for reports.
What we believe about measurement
The most useful thing an agency can give a client is an honest number they did not have before. Not a vanity metric, not a screenshot of a keyword position taken from a browser signed into your own account, and not a percentage improvement measured against a baseline chosen because it flatters us.
So every engagement opens with instrumentation. We agree what counts as a lead, a qualified lead and a sale before any work starts. We fix the tracking that is almost always broken, duplicate tags, conversions firing on page load, thank you pages nobody protected. Then we build a dashboard you can open yourself, at any hour, without asking us for it.
The consequence is that our reporting sometimes shows a bad month. We would rather have that conversation in week three, when there is time to change something, than in month six, when the budget is gone and the story has to be spun. Clients who have worked with agencies before tend to recognise this as the difference immediately. Clients who have not sometimes find the first review uncomfortably direct. Both usually stay.
Working with us, practically
A first conversation is a call, usually thirty to forty minutes, in which we ask more questions than we answer. What are you selling, to whom, at what margin, and what has already been tried. If we cannot help, we will say so on that call and, where we can, point you at somebody who can. If we can help, you get a written scope with deliverables, sequence, timeline and price, no pricing tiers designed to make the middle one look sensible.
During delivery you get a shared channel with the actual team, a weekly written note, a monthly review call and a dashboard that never goes dark. We work in your working hours, in Bangalore time, and we do not disappear between invoices. For clients in Dubai and the wider Gulf, we run an overlapping schedule so a same day answer is normal rather than a favour.
At the end of a project, everything is yours. Accounts, code, creative files, documentation, admin access. We have watched too many businesses discover they do not own their own ad account to think of that as anything other than the bare minimum.
Five things we hold ourselves to.
Reporting you can argue with
Traffic, cost per qualified lead and revenue on a fixed schedule, in a dashboard you can open yourself at 11pm without asking anyone for a slide deck.
One team, start to finish
The strategist who scoped your project is the person you speak to in month nine. Nobody rotates off to a bigger account.
Decisions traced to data
Every recommendation points back to your own numbers or a documented benchmark. If it is a hunch, we will say it is a hunch.
Timelines that survive contact
Realistic dates up front, and a message the day something looks like slipping, not a week after the deadline passed.
Advice against our own invoice
If a channel will not carry your budget, we say so. Turning down work we cannot move is cheaper for everyone than pretending.
Work built in the open
Shared documents, shared dashboards, shared campaign notes. You should never have to ask what happened last week.
What clients tell us.
"DG5 rebuilt our site and aligned our SEO and paid lead generation around the product categories that actually drive enquiries. The leads that come in now already understand what we do before the first call."
"The travel content and video work DG5 produces feels like our own voice, just louder. Their reels and campaign posters have directly filled departure slots we would otherwise have struggled to close."
"DG5 runs our social channels, paid campaigns and website updates as one rhythm. The best part is the reporting: we know which post, which ad and which landing page moved the needle."
Things people ask about working with us.
How big is the team?
+
Deliberately small and senior. We staff each account with one lead plus the specialists that engagement needs, rather than assigning a large team and billing for coordination.
Do you work with businesses outside Bangalore?
+
Yes. Bangalore is our home base, and we also work with teams across Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Kolkata and Dubai on the same reporting cadence.
What size of business do you usually work with?
+
Mostly founder led businesses and marketing teams that have outgrown a freelancer but do not want a large agency. If a smaller scope is the right starting point, we will scope that instead of a retainer.
Can we start with one service and add more later?
+
That is the usual pattern. Most engagements begin with the single piece of work most likely to move the numbers, and expand only when there is a reason to.
Who owns the accounts and the work?
+
You do, from the first day. Ad accounts, analytics, code repositories, design files and documentation are all in your name and handed over in full at any point you ask.
