Service 10 · Reputation management

Control what shows up when someone searches your name.

A prospective customer researching your business almost never starts with your website. They search your name, read three or four reviews, glance at what comes up on the first page of results, and decide whether to keep going before your homepage ever loads. That research happens whether you manage it or not, the only choice is whether what they find was shaped deliberately.

In short

Reputation management is the ongoing discipline of earning genuine reviews, responding to every one properly, and monitoring what actually appears in search for your name and your key people, so the story available to a stranger matches the business you actually run.

Selected work

02

Work we are happy to put our name on.

A small, real portfolio rather than a wall of borrowed logos. Websites, short form video and campaign design produced for clients who are still running the work today.

01

Earning reviews systematically

Happy customers rarely leave reviews unprompted, not because they are unwilling but because the ask never happens at the right moment. We build a request workflow triggered by the moment a customer is most satisfied, right after a successful delivery, a completed service or a support issue resolved well, rather than a generic email sent weeks later that gets ignored.

The workflow matters more than the platform. A simple, well timed message with a direct link removes almost all the friction that stops a satisfied customer from bothering. We test the timing, the wording and the channel, SMS, email or WhatsApp, against what actually gets responses for your specific customer base rather than applying a template.

Review generation workflow
Automated, well timed requests triggered by genuine satisfaction moments.
Response management
Every review, positive or negative, answered with a consistent, on brand voice.
Search monitoring
Ongoing tracking of what appears on page one for your name, brand and key people.
Crisis protocol
A documented plan for handling a negative review or coverage spike before it happens.
02

Responding to reviews properly

A five star review with no response is a missed chance to show future readers you are attentive. A one star review with no response, or worse a defensive one, is far more damaging than the original complaint. We respond to every review, using a tone that is specific to the actual feedback rather than a copy pasted thank you, because readers notice the difference.

For negative reviews, the response is written for the hundred future readers, not just the one unhappy customer. Acknowledge specifically, avoid arguing in public, and take the resolution offline where it belongs. Where a review is fake, abusive or violates platform policy, we file the correct removal request with the evidence platforms require, which is a slower and more procedural process than most business owners expect.

03

Watching what search actually shows

Beyond reviews, we monitor what shows up across the first two pages of search results for your business name, your founders and any product names, on a fixed schedule rather than only after something goes wrong. That includes news coverage, forum threads, comparison sites and old content that may no longer represent the business accurately.

Where something genuinely inaccurate or outdated is ranking, we pursue the correct route, contacting the publisher, filing a legitimate correction, or building stronger, more current content that naturally outranks it over time. We do not offer or attempt search result suppression through fake sites or manipulated signals, both because it rarely works long term and because it tends to make an eventual discovery far worse.

04

Handling an active situation

If you are already dealing with a wave of negative reviews, a viral complaint or damaging coverage, the first forty eight hours matter. We assess what is actually being said, whether it is a legitimate grievance that needs a real fix or a coordinated pile on, and build a response plan before publishing anything, because a rushed public statement is often the second mistake in a reputation event.

Where the complaint is legitimate, the honest fix is usually operational, not communicative, resolve the underlying issue and say so plainly. Where it is not, we help you respond factually and without escalating, and keep monitoring until the situation has genuinely settled rather than declaring victory after one calm day.

05

This is a prevention discipline, not a fire extinguisher

Reputation work is far cheaper and far more effective as an ongoing habit than as a rescue mission. Businesses that build a steady stream of genuine, recent reviews and respond consistently rarely face a crisis that spirals, because there is a large body of credible, positive proof surrounding any single bad experience that does surface.

We are upfront that this is not a service for erasing legitimate history or manufacturing a reputation that does not match reality. If the underlying product or service has a real problem, no amount of review management fixes that, and we will say so rather than take a retainer we cannot honestly deliver on.

Questions

What clients ask before signing.

Can you remove negative reviews?

+

We can file removal requests for reviews that are fake, abusive or violate a platform's policy, using the evidence platforms require, which they do sometimes honour. We cannot and will not remove a genuine negative review simply because it is unflattering.

Do you write fake positive reviews to balance things out?

+

No, under any circumstance. Fake reviews violate platform policy, risk penalties against your listing, and tend to be spotted by both platforms and readers. Every review we generate comes from a real customer through a genuine request.

How quickly do you respond to a new review?

+

Within 48 hours as standard practice, faster if we are actively managing a sensitive situation. Timeliness itself signals attentiveness to anyone reading later.

What if the negative review is about something we actually did wrong?

+

Then the honest response is to acknowledge it plainly and describe the fix, and to make sure the underlying issue is actually resolved. We will tell you directly if a pattern of complaints points to an operational problem rather than a communication one.

Can you help with a specific crisis that is already happening?

+

Yes, we take on active situations and prioritise assessment and a response plan within the first day, though sustainable results still take a consistent effort over following weeks.

How is this different from your social media service?

+

Social media marketing runs your content and community on your own channels. Reputation management focuses on third party surfaces, reviews and search results, that you do not control directly but that shape what a stranger believes about you before they ever visit your channels.

Do you monitor mentions of specific people, not just the company?

+

Yes, for founders, executives or public facing team members whose personal search results affect how the business is perceived, we monitor and manage those in the same programme.
